Conflict Resolution and Aggression Management Training
Our training components are designed to help employers meet the legislative requirements of the CSCI and the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974. As an employer you have a legal duty to ensure that your employees have a safe working environment. This can extend to protecting employees from assault.

Following a head injury it is common for an individual to exhibit elements of challenging behaviour. CPIMS.COM have developed a comprehensive training module which offers realistic and ethical training for clinical application in personal safety skills. The one day course includes a complete protocol and policy guideline for the employer's policy and procedure file which complements the practical training component of this course.

The training does not replace the need for thorough risk management but is designed to complement your existing systems for ensuring employee and client safety. This course does not endorse or teach restraint techniques but is designed around the principle of avoidance through the utilisation of relevant strategies and the identification of risks.

De-escalation principles and safe principles of physical intervention are taught to address elements of challenging behaviour and verbal assaults. Simple non-aversive breakaway techniques are incorporated to complete the programme, providing an ethical and realistic solution for instances of physical assault. The course is underpinned by basic personal safety strategies and principles that reduce the need for a physical response.
