  • Support Worker required Bangor. CLOSED
    Support worker required in the Bangor area Gwynedd. 38 hours per week which may include some on-call hours. £9.00 per hour. £5.90 per hour for on-call shifts. Immediate start. Enhanced disclosure required. Flexible, mature, caring individual with a minimum NVQ2 in a care qualification with the ability to work using your own initiative required to care for an individual with a high spinal lesion in a community setting. Prior experince working with dependent patients essential. Full training will be provided.

  • Support Worker required Bolton.CLOSED
    Support worker required in the Horwich area. 20 hours per week 12pm - 4pm 5 days per week. £8.50 per hour. Immediate start. Enhanced disclosure required. Flexible, mature, caring individual with a minimum NVQ2 in a care qualification with the ability to work using your own initiative required to care for an individual with a spinal lesion in a community setting. Prior experince working with dependent patients essential. Full training will be provided.

    To support Castleford client to plan, and particiapte in leisure/sporting activities. Some personal care and domestic support required.
    35 hours per week to be shared between 2 carers.
    £7.50 per hour.
    Support workers to be flexible if possible. Clean driving licence essential, some minor offences may be considered. Minimum NVQ 2 in care. NVQ3 desirable.

    • Support Worker Part time 3 posts.
      Support Worker required: lively character, outward going with sense of humour. Self Motivated and self disciplined,can act on own initiative and assist client to plan leisure time. To enable client to go out and about, support with sport, social activities. Assist with homework tasks .
      49 hours per week to be shared between 3 carers to share 7 x 7hour shifts, each guaranteed 14 hours plus.
      £7.50 per hour.
      Mon Wed Friday, 12.00pm to 7.00pm
      Sat and Sunday 9am to 11pm
      Some evening work at the weekends. Support workers to be flexible if possible. Driving licence essential. Clean driving licence preferable, however some minor offences may be considered. Minimum NVQ 2 NVQ3 desirable.

Prior experince working with ventilated patients and catheter care desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

        We are seeking an innovative health professional to lead an established team of 10 support workers caring for a gentleman with a high spinal lesion. You'll be working in a warm friendly family environment in the community. The role includes working autonomously providing support, expert opinion, advice, education and clinical supervision to the team.
